Haul Time!! Collective Drugstore Beauty Haul!!

Hey Guys,

So yes I have another, yes another collective haul for you guys (If you missed out on my last haul you can check it out here - Beauty Haul!! (Makeup Revolution, Pennys/Primark, Blank Cosmetics, Wet & Wild)

Today is another haul of beauty bits & pieces that I have picked up from Penny's (Primark), Random Irish pharmacies (Drugstores) & also gifts. So I'll I can say is sit back, relax & enjoy! Leave me a comment below with your thoughts on any of the products I have mentioned here today or any new products you have picked up lately. i would love to hear about them.

Also don't forget to add me on TWITTER, INSTAGRAM or SNAPCHAT for realtime mini reviews, Mini hauls & update goings on!! See you there!!

Lets get this show on the road then shall we (I will warn you now there are a lot of products here) -

Wet & Wild Photo Finish Foundation

I picked this up a couple of weeks ago when I was in need of a new foundation. Unfortunately there is no L'Oreal stand anywhere near me. There is however a Wet & Wild stand so I decided it was time once again to start experimenting with new foundations. This was one I picked up. I didn't actually hear any reviews about it until after I picked it up for myself. All the reviews I have seen so far have been positive. I have worn it a couple of times but not enough to give it a full review. That will be coming soon.

Wet & Wild Coverall Cream Foundation

This is another one I thought I would try out. I haven't actually tried it yet but I will be posting a full review of this also in the upcoming weeks.

P.S. 2Pk Silicone Sponges

I genuinely picked this up because I thought it was wierd. The look, the texture, the shape..... wierd. I thought it might be a fun thing to try out and tell you guys about and if it works then win, win.

P.S. Plumping Vitimin E Sheet Mask

Pennys have been doing a lot of skincare recently and I haven't actually tried that much so I thought it was about time to give it a go!! I picked up a couple masks!

P.S. Cranberry Lip Patch

Essence - Get Picture Ready - Brightening Concealer

This was a new product to arrive at the Essence stand. I think the thought process of this product is kind of along the lines of the Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer that everyone went crazy for. (I personally have never tried it. I know #badblogger) Anyhoo I thought I would give it a shot & see how it works out.

P.S. Foundation

The final product I have to show you is another foundation!! I think it was the YouTuber Kate from Kates Beauty Station that raved about this and said that She used it everyday so I had to give it a go. I just hope I picked up the right one!!

Well looks like I'm going to be a busy girl!! testing out all these products. Keep a close eye on my social media for up-to-date mini reviews!! Also leave me a comment down below if you have tried any of these products & your thoughts on them!! Or if you have any recommendations of any new products you either love and think I would like to try or that you would like me to test out for you!!

Beauty Currently Loving ~ July 2017

Hey Friends,

Today I thought I would share with you all the makeup & beauty products that are making me happy at the moment... I published my last Currently Loving post back in February (That seems so long ago now) so I thought it was time for an update!

If you would like to know more regularly the products that I consider hits & misses in my life, then you can hop on over and follow me on my social media (TWITTER, INSTAGRAM or SNAPCHAT) where I post update, real- time mini reviews & hauls along with day to day randomness & life updates!) All links are at the end of the post!!

Lets begin shall we?

Blank Canvas Cosmetics - F08 Buffer Brush

You might have seen this baby in my last haul post (If you missed it you can check it out here - Beauty Haul!! (Makeup Revolution, Penny's / Primark, Blank Canvas Cosmetics, Wet & Wild) or if you follow me in Instagram you might have also seen him pop up on your feed. No joke, I had been eyeing this sucker up since Christmas but I just couldn't justify picking this up! A couple of weeks ago I caved. I just couldn't resist the urge & do I regret it? Not even in the slightest!! I love this brush! I'm currently using it for my foundation & I couldn't be happier with the finish. I was using sponges for a while & now I am currently converted back to a brush girl!! I highly recommend if you are in the market for a makeup brush of this type check this guy out!!

Benefit Rockateur Blush

Ok anyone who knows me knows I'm not a massive blush girl, however in recent times this little one has stolen my heart. I was gifted this for Christmas by my best friend & fellow blogger Dara - PurpleButtonCouture & I have fallen for it!! It came in a Benefit gift set. Not that I think I will run out of it anytime soon (I mean it is ridiculously hard to run out of blush) but if I were to run out of it I would definitely run out & pick it up again!!

Essence Strobing Highlighter

A product I have been pairing the Rockateur blush with is The Essence Strobing Highlighter - 10 Let it Glow! I really do like a little glow on the face however I personally prefer a subtle (yet noticable) glow rather than a bam! in your face glow!, especially for everyday use anyway & I find this one is perfect!! It gives me a nice "I'm alive" kind of glow without it being too much!!  I have been loving this for everyday use in the past month!

Essence All About Matt! Fixing Compact Powder

I picked this up quite a while back & fell in love almost immediately (although I'm actually not sure I've ever shared it, either here or on my social media...) However in the past couple of months what with the move and finding new products, which I will be sharing soon, it kind of got left by the wayside for a while. Last week though I found it & put it back into my everyday makeup routine. I have been using it ever since!! I highly recommend that it you are in the market for a new setting powder then you give this one a go. It is so finely milled #overusedbloggerterm but its true!! It doesn't make me look cakey or pasty. It doesn't change the integrity or positioning of the products I have put underneath. It just gives my makeup a flawless, finished look! I absolutely love this little guy!!

P.S... PRO Mattifying Primer

I have already done a full review on this product (Full Review!!) & in it I mention that as I have normal to dry skin that it is not a product that I wouldn't use all the time but love it for when I want bulletproof makeup. However I find that in the summer months & in hotter weather this stuff is a godsend. It just keeps my makeup where I want it to be regardless of the heat and other external factors in my day. This will definitely be a product I will be taking away with me on holidays this year!! In fact I just picked up another one last week!! €5 a pop!! #happiness

That's all folks!!

I am currently testing out new products and will have many more to share with you in the up-coming weeks! I have exciting things coming!! I hope you enjoyed this post!! Please leave me a comment below and let me know if you have tried any of these out & your thoughts on them. Also please leave your recommendations for any other products you think I might like to try or you would like me to test out for you. I always love hearing your thoughts & recommendations!!

Dont Forget you can also get in contact and catch up with me on my social media!! - All linked below! I will see you there!! x

Beauty Haul!! (Makeup Revolution, Pennys/Primark, Blank Cosmetics, Wet & Wild)

Hey Beauties,

Today I have another haul for you guys!! I did a little shopping in the past couple of weeks & this is a collective haul of new beauty products & tools. I picked these up in Pennys and random Pharmacies. *Side note - I love pharmacies in Ireland. You always find random stalls of different makeup brands which are primarily based in the UK or the States such as Physicians Formula, Freedom, The Balm & Makeup Revolution. They usually start in random pharmacies & then filter out to the wider market. Take NYX for example I could only find it in small random stalls & now the have priority in Boots. Anyway these are the kinds of places I found the makeup I am about to show you. I am so excited to start playing with it all and giving you guys reviews.

Makeup Revolution, I Heart Makeup - Salted Caramel Palette - €12

I was so excited to see this stand. I remember seeing the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palettes everywhere for the past couple of years. I remember feeling, on the one hand so jealous as I wanted to play with it but also I know with amount of makeup I currently possess and the fact that I am trying to live more minimally, appreciating my possessions and achieving financial & travel goals for 2017 there was no way I could justify paying out that money for another palette. When I spotted these palettes on a stand for the first time I was so happy. I picked this baby up knowing it to be a dupe for the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette for €12!! I know that although its a dupe it wont be exact however I also know the quality of these shadows is great and I cant wait to play with. I will definitely be giving you guys a review of this product as an independent product and not as a dupe. (also you maybe notice on one of the photos there is some animal print going on. That is not part of the design, its actually a reflection of the shirt I was wearing when taking the photo.... I think it kinda works though so I used the photo anyway! #bloggerproblems)

Makeup Revolution - Lip Lava Motlen Chocolate - €4.50

Any guesses to why I picked up this little product?? Yes most of you probably guessed right. This product has been duped for the Too faced Melted Lipstcks or the OCC Lip Tars, more products that I have always wanted to try. I got the shade Naked Chocolate. It was the one I was most drawn to in the shelf. I picked this baby up for €4.50!! If I fall for these products I will definitely be considering picking up their higher end counterpart.

Blank Canvas Cosmetics, Dome Buffer Brush - €14.99

For months now I have been so tempted by these brushes I have heard such great things about them but again as I genuinely have more brushes and tools in my collection than I can currently count I have always put it off..... until now. I caved! What can I say... I'm weak... sue me. #sonotsorry.

Pennys Lip Liner - €1.50

I love Pennys Lip liners & I couldnt resist picking another one at €1.50 a pop - #winning Here I picked up the shade - Desert Sand. Its a very 'Kylie Jenner' shade & I love it!

Pennys Mascara - €1.50

I am still on my never ending quest to find my perfect mascara so now that I'm in need of a new one I found this just hanging out on the shelf calling my name. The quality of Pennys make is getting stronger and stronger so you never know #fingerscrossed

Pennys Eyebrow Pencil - €1.50

For a long time now I have been using powder to fill in my brows & I find that it works really well for me. However I have been getting bored lately & decided to branch out and try new things. I decided to opt for pencil as it seems like it might be reliable and also maybe travel friendly #winwin I picked this up in the shade - Medium.

Wet & Wild - Colouricon Bronzer SPF 15 - Reserve Your Cabana - €4.95

I was in need of a new bronzer as unfortunately mine bit the bullet a couple of weeks ago when it fell on the floor and smashed. Luckly the lid was still closed so I have been able to use it but realistically it was time to invest again. If you have been with for a long time (Thank you) then you will know that for the longest time I have been using the Catrice - Sun Glow Matt Bronzing Powder (One of my holy grail products) However, even though I do love that product so much & will be purchasing it again I decided it was finally time to branch out so I decided to pick up this one. I spotted it a couple of months ago and it intrigued me but I couldn't justify buying it as I already had my other one at the time. This one looks so light but I'm going to give ago anyway and see how I get on. Stay tuned for updates!!

So thats my little haul!! I am so happy with my purchases and cant wait to now start playing with them!! Stay tuned for updates or you can check out my SNAPCHAT - beautylalinda Here I post mini reviews & updates in real time.

Have you tried any of these products? What were your thoughts on them? Any advice or recommendations for future purchases??

Ride or Die Makeup Products ~ February 2017 ~

Hey Friends,

Today I thought I would share with you my #RideorDie products with you! The way I based these decisions on was if I was travelling or something & I could only choose my ultimate products to bring or If I was robbed of all my makeup & could only replace one of each product which ones would I bring or replace??

The products I'm sharing with you are tried & tested, favourites!! Here we go!! I'm going in order of application in my makeup routine -

Primer

For this I was going to say Maybelline Baby Skin Primer because as any long time follower (thank you) will know I used to be obsessed with this product! If you would like to see a full review you can check it out my clicking the link here - Full Review || Maybelline Baby Skin Primer!
However since then I have been trying all different primers, mainly drugstore (I will have a full post on all of them coming up soon so keep posted) & now I have been using a primer for the past couple of months that I think at the moment would honestly be my ride or die product & that is the PS... PRO Miracle Primer I have a full review here - Full Review || PS... PRO Miracle Primer!

Foundation

Everyone will probably know exactly what I am going to say here. I have banged on about this foundation for about million years now! It is of course the Loreal True Match Foundation. This is my absolute ride or die foundation I have tried so many but up to date nothing truely compares to it!

Bronzer

I think all long time followers will know what I'm about to say here too. Again of course its the Catrice Sun Glow Matt Bronzing Powder. I have been using this for a couple of years now & I absolutely love it. However I know as a Beauty Blogger I really need to branch out & try new bronzers but as I always say "If it ain't broke..."

Concealer

This was another easy decision to make, There are two I always go back to. They are the Essence - Stay all day 16Hr Concealer & the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, but I have to choose between them too, the one I would choose is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. I just love this product, the coverage, the lasting power - everything. If you haven't already then give it a go!!

Highlighting

I don't really have a ride or die highlighter at the moment to be honest. The only thing I absolutely love is the Loreal Lumi Magique highlighting Pen. Any time I have an important event I always make sure I have one of these babies on hand. I just love the effect it gives to my skin. However I am still in the look out for a holy grail highlighter

Eyeliners

My holy grail / Ride or Die eyeliners are all from Essence. My ride or die Liquid liner is the Essence Waterproof Liquid Liner & for the kohl liner I love the - Essence Extreme Lasting Eye Pencil. I always go back to these liners!!

Eyebrows

For brows in the past year I have been enjoying using a combo of powder and brow mascara. So the products I would go out & replace immediately are the PS... Brow Kit & Essence Make Me Brow. Unfortunately I think they are discontinuing the Essence make me brow so it looks like I'm going to have to find a new ride or die product soon #sadface

Eyeshadow Palate

I have a lot of palates & a lot of eye products & out of all of these there are only 2 that come straight to mind. My ride or die palate is probably the Urban Decay - Naked Original. I always go back to this palate & would replace it in a heartbeat. The only other palate that also came to mind was the Revolution - Iconic Pro 1 palate. I bought this palate just before christmas & I'm in love. I would hate it if I didn't have this palate in my collection. I also have a post on how the Urban Decay - Naked Original palate has a dupe in the W7 Lightly Toasted. If you are interested, you can check it out here - Getting Duped || Naked Original!!

Eyelashes

If I had my way (maybe in the future) I would always have lash extensions but for now I just use falsies & my favourite by far are the PS... Eyelashes. I have a whole review post on them if you want to check it out here - Review || PS Love... Eyelashes!

Lippies

Again Essence wins this category!! I love there Lipliners. They are awesome!! My favourites Nude & Satin Mauve. I also love there Long Lasting Lipstick Range. I have been using them for years & I love them! I also love the Velvet & Glossy Sticks. I really have to say Essence kills it when it comes to lippies and eyeliners!! Maybeline is also a brand I turn to for lipsticks! They have great game when it comes to lipstick skills!

*You may have noticed there is no lipstick in here, that is because as of yet I have no ride or die mascara. I still haven't found my mascara soulmate #waaahhh

These are all the products I would repurchase if I woke up one morning and they were all gone. I generally have backups of all these products. I currently have backups of most of them. Let me know in the comments what your #rideordie products. I'd love to hear them!!

Haul Time!! (Includes New Products from Essence)

Hello Beauties,

Happy Friday!! On fridays I usually have a First Impressions or Review for you guys but today I thought I would share something a little different. I have a haul!! Hope you enjoy!!

I really didn't think I would be doing a haul anytime soon as this year is my year of trying to save money & also I have gotten into minimalism alot lately #Slayingit2017. However I need to pick up a new mascara & a new concealler, so I decided to pop over to the Essence stand to see if they had any offers going. What I found instead however, is a whole array of new products that had just launched. So I picked up a few items. I spent E16.40 in total on Essence products so I don't feel that bad about my haul & I also picked up so pretty cool new products to try out.

This is not a review as I haven't tried any of these yet. It is just a haul to share what I picked up. Enjoy!!

Essence Volume Stylist 18h Lash Extension Mascara E3.80

There were a few new mascaras available on the stand but this is the one that caught my eye. I love anything that says "Lash Extension", My dream is to have full, long, fluttering lashes!! So hopefully this will do the job!! I really like the packaging too!!

Essence Camouflage Full Coverage Concealler E3.10

I decided to try out their new concealer. Full coverage makes me think it might be too heavy for under the eyes but it does claim it is for covering dark circles so we will give it a whirl! I got it in the lightest shade available 05 Ivory.

Essence My Must Haves (Single Eyeshadows) E1.90 each

These are the products I am really excited about & made me break my budget as I really didn't need them but I just couldn't resist!! They are after launching DIY 4 pan palates with about 30 shadows to choose from! At E1.90 a pop I really couldn't walk away. I decided to go for a neutrally palate as I thought it would be a great way to try them out. I swatched them in the store & they seemed to have good pigmentation so lets hope that is still the case when I try to blend them on the lid!!! I will definitely be going back to pick up more if they perform well!!

Essence My Must Haves Eyeshadow Palate E1.90

Well it would be pretty pointless to get the shadows & not the palate to go with it wouldn't? So I popped this in my basket too!! The first thing that came to mind with these was travelling. If these shadows are good these DIY palates would be perfect & compact!! I have arranged them in the shades (left - right) 09 chilli vanilli, 07 mauvie time, 03 miss foxy roxy, 18 black as berry

Lacura Body Care 4 Blades Sensitive Razor E3.99 & Refills E3.99

Ok this is obviously not Essence, I picked this up in aldi. As a brand I really like Lacura. I love their serums & have a full review of the Aqua Complete one here - Full Review || Lacura Aqua Complete Multi Intensive Serum So when I saw this product I was very happy. I love razors with the disposable heads, however they are so expensive. I usually use Gillette which I love but not only is the razor pretty pricy but the refills are too, to be honest right now its not in my budget so I have been using disposable ones. However when I spotted these I thought if they work I'm sorted!! Neither the razor (which includes 2 heads) or the refills (Pack of 4) are too expensive so fingers crossed they do the job well!!

Of course I will be keeping you guys updated & doing reviews on all the products mentioned above in the upcoming weeks!! Please leave me a comment down below & tell me all about any new products you have picked up recently or if you have tried & have any thoughts on any of the products I have mentioned in this post! I'd love to hear them!!
